I think it is odd that they made a recall because of that. I work for a SAAB dealership. and there is a EVAP line that connects directly to the fuel pump assembly. This line is apparently a mouses favorite food. I see a few cars a month because of a leak on this fuel line. But, we will not warranty something because of animal damage. And to add to the oddness of the recall Mazda only found 20 cars effected. Seems like an awfully low number to start a recall, maybe a TSB. Plus, that has to be a pretty strong web to hold back enough pressure to crack the fuel tank.

Maybe Toyota payed Mazda to put out a recall, so they take some attention away.

Posted via FF Mobile Did you hear that PETA is requesting people to donate their cars instead where the spiders will be safely taken out and unharmed. LOL, i read this and was like seriously? I think I can tell a con job when I see it, also Im sure tons of people will be handing over their brand new mazdas so a few spiders wont get cleaned out.

Gives new meaning to the whole "working the bugs out of the system" thing, doesn't it?[rofl]

I sure wish this had happened to a particular MS6 running around a month or so back. Would have saved Me a bit of embarrassment, lol.

Hmm... lyonsroar hasn't posted here in a while. You think spiders are holding him and his MS3 hostage at a dealership?

"But if these yellow sac spiders are able to wreck entire Mazdas, what kind of damage can they do, are they doing in my house?! To me and my kids while we are sleeping? After they find "cracks" to crawl in and hide, you know, like the crux of my son's arm or my earlobe."

This quote just sounds stupid and completely useless. What, does she think it bit her car and it broked-ed? It's going to make a web and her kids armpit, oh boy. Kid is gonna break.

I read that a couple times trying to figure out what that dummy was thinking. Everybody eats spiders in their sleep.

I saw a video on AFV of a guy sleeping on the couch with his mouth wide open, and the wife is filming it. She tries to wake him up, and when she gets close a HUGE spider crawls out of his mouth, and she freaks out and wakes him up lol He had no idea.
