has anyone seen an SVT specific nitrous kit? I'd like to do a 75 shot, but I dont' want to use a single nozzle fogger system because I'm not sure how it will interact with the dual stage manifold. I don't want that to puddle in there and blow the manifold to pieces.

nitrous will void warranty . svts are fast anyway.why would you want to blow it up with nitrous anyway.

chris, you have no nitrous knowledge so dont talk. nitrous is safe if used correctly.

thanks, yeah, I'm planning on a window switch to cut off by 6800 rpm, and the WOT switch. I just wasn't sure if there would be any issue with the DSI when it shifts to the short runner configuration.

also, there is no such thing as a modification that actually voids the warranty simply because the modification was made. Magnusson Moss - READ IT.

a vehicle's warranty cannot be denied due to the installation of aftermarket parts. it can be voided ONLY if the failure that the owner is complaining about is DIRECTLY caused by the modification. the dealer doesn't have to warranty any of the aftermarket parts, but they can't void the base warranty simply because you have aftermarket parts on your car.

oh, bottlefed, where did you tap the fuel supply from? did you get a steeda fuel rail? or I even saw somewhere a fuel supply line that replaces our stock line with a fitting on it. what's you A/F ratio look like when you hit the juice?

Acctually i believe they can since the warrenty on the focus specificaly states that any kind of FI will void your warrenty...............if im wronge whatever, would be better for my future plans anyway.....................

You can use the same wet kit that ZEX has for either the SVT or ZX3. It's kind of like a universal system, so you don't have anything to worry about as far as that goes. Hell you could get a universal direct port system and get it working on your car (if you want to drill into your manifold)

yeah, I do prefer direct port systems, but I really don't want to drill the plastic. plus, I'm also going for a somewhat "stealth" install, don't want all those lines sticking up on top of the engine. is there enough room to plumb the lines just below the short piece of the manifold that bolts to the head? or am I gonna have to be the guinea pig and find out for myself...

thanks...

I'll probably have some of my friends order me another one of those things so I can plumb the nitrous on one, and if it doesn't work, then I still have a good one with which to run my car
