Before you flag or remove, read what I am posting. Racenoco is a small car club of maybe going on 200 members to try and get a drag strip built in Northern Colorado. I personally dont have time to drive down to Bandimere and I know alot of others dont either. Don't really consider it a car club, but more of an active petition. We do occasionally meet up and talk about racing and stuff. Let me know if your interested. We are having a G2G on friday, the 25th.

I'd get involved if I was up more often. Thought about trying to get something started, myself, back in high school. College is nothing but trouble. Most of my friends lost their licenses at least once for street racing citations.

I don't know if you could get a strip built but another idea that some municipalities have pursued is finding some land where people can come, pay a little money, be monitored by police, and have some fun. Probably more like an 1/8th mile impromptu track. My only concern would be liability. In addition to waivers there'd have to be some kind of insurance by the landowner, I would guess.

I am currently on a man hunt for the head honcho of the Budweiser Events Center. They own that land north of the rach and it would be a great place for the strip. Would bring in alot of revenue also.
