I wanted to ask but wasn't sure if i would get lynched or not. But does any body in the mid west know where I can get junk cars, El camino is number one pick. If all there is is a frame, and engine i'll be happy. The worse the condition the happier I"ll be.

the junkyard has a bunch of junk cars. They currently have an 86 el camino, a 72 camaro, 80 camaro, 77 firebird, 81 firebird, a couple corvairs, 66 fairlane 500, 62 ranchero, a couple ramblers .....

Try the junkyard, Craigslist, classified ads, etc.

I in fact do know someone who is an El Camino fanatic and usually has about 4-5 on hand, some run and some don't. Some need lots of body work and some need none but need an engine. His shop is in Lawrence, KS btw. Let me know if you want me to find out if he's got anything willing to get rid of.

lol, my buddy just got a better one and has a very rusty one sitting in his back yard for a 86 el camino. But I don't think you want to drive all the way to CT for it.
