In 2009 Ford brought out the european insoired package that included new front and rear bumpers, multispoke wheels, black chrome trim, and they ditched the faux fender vents. 09s also had other stuff standard, like temp guage, interior trunk release that was either not offered or offered on higher trims for the 08s. All SES coupes and sedans had the euro package standard. 2010 was pretty much the same, and in 2011, the coupe was discontinued.

2008 - 2010 models are basically the same Focus build and trims besides tire sizes, except starting at 2010, my Ford key touch system lets you control how teenagers should drive such as, set the speed limit for them to drive on the road, and it sounds when they are over the speed limit. Also, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control (improves handling performance in all season weathers), traction control (Better control of steering when dodging potholes), outside temperature display, heated front seats to warm the two front seats up for winter season. Plus, 2010 Focus models are able to have a moon roof... so nice...

Also 09 and up had darkened chrome trim in the tails and black housing headlights I believe.

Yeah no doubt I love the look of my darkened tails and the monochromatic look :)

08s and job 1 09s don't have interior trunk release, rear dome light, temp gauge, compass and maybe a couple other things.
The 09 SELs still carried the chrome fender vents for job 1s I believe.
