inline 6 [headbang]

That's my favorite engine configuration, but we have very few options for that in the USA. I like the I6 or /6 because it's inherently balanced. There are a few old Toyota and Nissan SOHC versions, Volvo DOHC, and BMW's. Not much else though. Plenty of OHV I6 and /6, but not anything I'd consider to be a performance option. Great for trucks though! I'd much rather have a good running 300 I6 in a Ford truck instead of a 302 if I was a farmer. The problems come when those need repair- engine parts can be excessively expensive when compared to more popular V8s. It's all about popularity though, the more common stuff is cheaper. It's a shame since the I6 platform is really well suited to performance- Nissan Skyline 2.5 I6 proved that as well as some older BMW /6 engines.

I personally wish we had common I6's here, but I guess I'll have to move to Australia and learn to drive from the passenger side of the car if I want to build a 32 Ford convertible with an I6.

inline 6 are very good motor's, My 91 f150 had one, they last forever and put the old saying " ford fix or repair daily" to shame.
