Has any body removed the bottom of there stock intake box? Curiousity I guess, If the short ram is basicly a filter on the end of a pipe then removeing the lower portion of the air cleaner box would be the same in theory. Has any body tried this? If so how did it work for you?

good idea. well, in theory.

i did and it just made the intake really loud i'm not really sure it helped. i removd the snorkle and moved to next to the fog lamps and put in a dropin k&n panel filter.
