: Local tuners

I'm just slightly frustrated that it seems that all things tuning for the Focus are on the east coast. I obviously don't live there and don't really want to drive all the way there if I decide I want boost (which I do at some point). I would like to deal with someone face-to-face.

Is there ANYONE in the area that knows about Foci? Any shops in the Twin Cities or Milwaukee or Chicago??? There has to be something.

I thought about posting there but I wasn't sure.

I guess anything east is east coast to me...there is CFM (which is southeast), Tom is out east I think, there's another shop I can't remember right now in PA...Mike who used to sell parts is in PA...

I'd say massive would be your best bet. They're just outside of Chicago I think.

Thanks...I guess I didn't realize that for some reason.

Last time i heard Massive doesn't do their own tuning they hire someone else to do it.

Also looking on their site they don't even offer turbo kits. Agh.

Your best bet is probably a remote tune. I have a customer who is driving down from WI to get us to tune the car, but that is because of how much power we are planning putting down between 500-600whp. Most turbo builds can be tuned adequately remotely.

yes blackjack, think of it as an adventure. taking it to the tuneer after it's runnin on a decent remote tune, or behind a pickup on a trailer.
