http://www.leftlanenews.com/toyota-recalls-2011-sienna-minivan-over-brake-concerns.html
Toyota says that some Sienna minivans produced before November 2010 could have been fitted with a defective brake light switch bracket. Because of the proximity with the brake pedal, the lamp switch bracket could become deformed by normal brake pedal usage.

First thing I said when I opened that document is "That thing is hideous!" I said it out loud and I'm by myself, that's how you know it's ugly. I apparently haven't seen the new Sienna's. But yeah, Toyota reliable eh????[thumbd]

looks like a designer started with a Toyota Matrix, and then got really bad diarhrea and had to finish it on his way to the can.

owner of Sieanna "Thats because the lamp switch failed and they dont light up anymore"
Officer: "I am going to site both of you..."

Boy am I glad we have a crappy Windstar with a 3.8
BTW, I've ridden and driven an 08 Odyssey and an 05 Odyssey- both have more powerful engines than the antiquated OHV Windstar- yet our van is faster and gets the same fuel economy. [scratch]
Ford needs to make something with sliding side doors before the van gives out and I have to resurrect another Windstar or Freestar from the junkyard.

Sorry, the new Odyssey from Honda is quite possibly the biggest train wreck van on the market now... Perhaps ever!!!! Who in the flip designed this?!?! Looks like one team designed the front 3/4 of the vehicle, and another team got to design the rear 1/4 section (from behind the sliding door and back). It looks like 2 different vans got cut and welded together back there. The longer you stare at it, the worse it looks. I saw one in person last night and I have to thank Honda for yet another night of side splitting laughter. Honda and Toyota are off their rockers (regarding design), with Mazda roaring to catch up to their hideousness.

^ Transit Connect?
Or the new C-Max.
As a new Transit Connect driver, I'd have to say using a TC for family hauling (even in supposedly spiffier Wagon trim) is like using a covered wagon on the Oregon Trail when you could be flying in a Lear jet. Those new minivans may be ugly but they have way more refinement.
