Can you find another and Hijack it. Handing out free Fiesta's would make you mighty popular.

You really think so? I had the AC on when I test drove a PowerShift Fiesta over the summer. It honestly felt no different than a 2.0L ZX3. It won't win any races but it's just as responsive and fun as I remember my old Focus to be.

I mean c'mon... A GEO METRO??? That's quite an imagination. :-P

The ATX shift points in the Fiesta are definitely tuned with MPG in mind but its no Geo Metro.

not trying to be a poop, i guess i just expected a bit more from this car.
seemed to take a while to start revving up, the wifes zetec wagon feels quicker.
the fiesta did seem to handle real nice though, with a little extra uummph it would be a lot of fun!.....ecoboost would wake it up.[headbang]

Posted via FF Mobile The auto is also faster then the manual. Lol, and its pretty much as fast as a focus.

The horsepower and torque figures are deceptive. Yes, the Mk1 Focus has more horsepower than the Fiesta. But remember that number is at the crank, not at the wheels. The Fiesta's lighter weight and PowerShift transmission allows more of that power to be delivered at the wheels. A dyno test between a 2.0L ZX3 and a 1.6L Fiesta would probably yield almost identical results in respect to wheel horsepower. Oddly enough I think the Fiesta might even have a slightly higher 0-60 time.

I totally thought by the thread title that someone already mounted a receiver hitch on their Fiesta! [:p]

(I just finished searching on wiring for a trailer. I'm going to buy a trailer for my SVTF tonight, got the hitch, already towed a couple times with a borrowed trailer, just need to wire in lights)
