OK so the wife neglects to tell me that the DEF is not working in the 02 Windstar. The vent selector appears to be toast since the selector switch does cut off the fan. It could be the switch, but my problem is I have zero experience disassembling the 02 Windstar dash.

Can ya help me get to it, maybe I can set it to DEF instead of DASH?

I don't have much time. I found this out today, and we have to leave in the morning to drive 3-4 hrs to have Tgiving with my sister in Nashville. If I can at least get the dash apart (assuming the vent selector motor is behind the center) then maybe I can fudge it to stay on DEF up front so we can safely drive without fogging windshields in the first winter weather we've had yet this year.
