as iv said before im shopping for a ford focus. from pictures iv seen online many of the foci equipped with leather look very bad. like the leather is loose or baggy on the seat (in the butt area). these are 2009 editions im looking at so not even that old. is this a problem others have experienced/ seen?

Hmm must have been all large people cars.. [poke]
All the SESs I've seen here have normal non sagged seats

Posted via FF Mobile Leather does stretch, and depending on how fat the person was sitting in it the more it will. Also the leather in the focus is not overly thick, so its not necessarily crap, you just get what you pay for. Higher end cars have thicker hides and better leather.

I wasn't too impressed with the hide quality of the Focus leather seats I inspected on the showroom floor, so it wasn't an option I considered.
What I have considered, since the fabric seats aren't real great, either, is having the seats reupholstered. I like the look and the reputation of Katzkins leather (about a grand or so, depending on options and installation costs). The Katzkins option preserves the front seat-mounted airbags on my SES, as well.
If income permits, there are also the aftermarket seats from Recaro, Corbeau and the like to consider. So, there's more than one way to get leather into your Focus.

My 07 SE has the factory leather seats and they still look quite good. 45k on the car right now.
