got a jrsc zetec it a set of crower cams stage 2 i was told by the previous owner thts all could tell me i dont think there a boost cam av a feelin there a n/a cam iv heard these shouldnt b fitted runnin boost.
whts the easyest way of tellin wht cams they r and would runnin boost and na cam loss me power compared to boost on a set of standard cams?

you'd have to take off the gears, they will have a number on them, if it says 62502, its teh NA cam, if it says 62502-T2, they are boost cams

I wouldnt worry about it , If the stg2 cams are there leave them , if you have stock leave them , either way go enjoy your boost

N/A cams typically make better power on supercharged cars. Leave them in either way. If I were you I'd be hoping that they're the N/A grinds.

ok thank guys.
only worried as was told boost and na cams dont mix but i geuss thts more for a turbo car
all i need now is more boost only runnin 3.5psi at the moment

brought the car like it want to b runnin 7psi in next few months when av the cash
whts the most psi the jrsc can run on a standard internmal engine

You can get an overdrive pulley. That with the BBK pulley will put you at about 12psi. Any more than that and you'll be pushing too much heat to make any more hp, unless you have an after cooler.

its my dd so wouldnt ever run tht high boost 7 psi should do me may b abit mor if poss.
cooler didnt think u could run a cooler on the jrsc

You're right. Running an aftercooler on a JRSC is near impossible....sure you could fab something but it would take A LOT of effort and money.
