Hey guys had a good day at the dyno :) pump gas 20psi made 389whp and on races gas MADE 504whp at only 27psi. has alot more in it but i told Fernando to stop i was happy. cars a beast. intake mani performed good lost some bottom end but that was to be expected, runners may be a tad short but this thing hauls ass so im happy. on STD numbers i made 400whp on pump and 517whp on race gas. big improvement over what i made before of 376whp at 23psi (ya i checked back and it took 23psi)

Honestly man i was scared haah after seeing chris oil pump go out i was worried, im buying the CFM billet pump and were coming back in december for more RPM and HP :)

but idk its very conservative race gas tune only low 11 AFR and can add more timing i have a good amount of power on the table

yes stock mains with ARP and idk about the clutch it seems to be fine did a couple pulls soooooo. and fernando did 608 on the same clutch

When i had toms kit i never dynoed. and ya Fernando in my personal opinion is the best. been to alot of tuners and he tops them all.

Could someone explain to me the difference between STD#'s and SAE#'s?

STD doesn't take into account elevation, temperature, or humidity. SAE tries to even the playing field by taking all these parameters into account.

STD is what the car did under the conditions it was run

SAE takes into account , Temp , Humidity , Altitude Etc so if you tune in the summer then go back in the winter the dyno should be the same

Actually, STD is just another correction factor like SAE. STD is always a higher number than SAE if you want the actual HP the car made under the conditions it was in you select UNCORRECTED dynojet numbers, hence they are uncorrected for temp elevation and humidity ect.

Dont mind the coolant vapors spraying (looks like smoke) when i made my coolant tank i didnt make the cap vent, so it was a closed coolant system which doesnt work.

Well a little update. I got my spare head back from porting and ill be buying some cams. still have to finish doing the combustion camber but its getting there.

Well randomly went to the track tonight and i gotta say im happy. ended up pulling off a 11.98 on pump gas and pulled a 1.76 60ft. pretty sure it will go a 11.7 cause on the 11.9 pass i hit the rev limiter in first so much that it bucked ( wasnt expecting it to hook so hard) then at the top of second the Bov line blew off which is a big vac leak. I also think that the reason the mph was down is related to the vac leak, should be trapping 117 like before. so i think she got a little left in her before the head and cams go on.
