I just got my car about a month ago on my 02 zx3 i just removed the muffler and bent a pipe to run to the back of the car. I was just wondering what any of you guys did for the svt, not to many systerms are out there.

that would be mbrp half the price of borla and its the same 2.5" pipign mandrel bent with a nice loud deep sound

Definitely BORLA or MAGNAFLOW.....

I've had Magnaflow on most of my vehicles. 95 Mustang GT, 94 Ranger 2.3, 98 Ranger 3.0, 89 Mustang 5.0, and eventually this little booger. My experience with Magnaflow is been very positive, so I can personally recommend them without hesitation.

Id recommend borla and I dont have it.. because Ive read quite good reviews on it.. thats possibly why hes doing that..

I went with the mbrp since it was the same diameter as the borla but half the price. I didnt even consider the Magnaflow since it has a smaller diameter (2.25) than the stock...

Stay with the stock, because to me it's a really great exhaust setup for stock. Or go with the Borla or Magnaflow. If you are thinking about the ORP, def go with the Borla, maybe even Magnaflow. I've not read or heard good things about the ORP with the MBRP setup.

Adding any other aftermarket exhaust components to the MBRP catback will create a very loud (especially with the race header) exhaust system.

well he shouldn;t be addign race headers anyway cause the svt headers are great as they r. i know you woudlnt knwo abotu that since u have a zx3 but thougth i woudl let hmim know. bottom lien get a orp and leave stock exhaust or go with mbrp if u want a cat back

if you just want horsepower, get the ORP, if you want sound, get magnaflow, if you want both, get both, but you're prolly gonna want to get a muffler, b/c the ORP with aftermarket exhaust is very loud
