I need a few specs if anyone can help me out. My buddy works at a machine shop and we are doing my valve job after hours. I wanted to double check and make sure we have the proper specs...

Specifically I need-

Valve head diameter, valve length, Ford valve part #, lash setting & valve stem diameter

The book at his shop states-

Intake valve clearance - 0.110mm - 0.180mm
Exhaust valve clearance - 0.270mm - 0.340mm

Thanks guys!

my vavle lash is way out of spec if those are the specs. im gonna have to machine up into my valve seats to make the lash correct.

I had a timing belt slip at ~30k about 5 years ago under warranty. A couple of my exhaust valves made contact. I believe the stealership did a valve job but I have no specs on vavles or buckets (his book is very vauge on VIN code 5 "svt" motors).

Im trying to determine what I need to replace, anyone with more specs? maybe Tom could help fill me in?

I purchased all new valves and springs from ford. I was able to reuse the buckets because i was still within spec. There are about 12 different buckets depending on the size u need to bring it to specs. No i didn't use aftermarket parts, all ford. The ford dealer printed me out a sheet of all the buckets but can't find it. Find out how far u are off then see if they have that bucket
