Hey. Newbie here.
I just picked up my 2003 Black Zx3 SVT tonite. European package, winter package, Loaded! I love it. I stalled it a few times on the way home, still getting used to driving a stick, but gimme time.

I do have a few questions, hoping maybe someone can point me in the right direction. I have looked over several posts but still a bit confused.
What fits an SVT? Is it the same as a Zetec? Like header/cat-back wise.
Do they make after market front grills?

I am sure I will think of more. Thanks ya'll and I hope I make some good friends in here.

Oh, by the way I am in the Kansas City area. In case anyone lives around me.

the zetec and the svt motor have different specs.. you cant swap them.. you have to get aftermarket parts esp for the svt...

Welcome, and congrats on your new car!!! I'm sure you'll love it, even though I don't have an SVTf to compare... since you have the Euro package, check out www.european-parts.net if you want any different grilles, they've got some nice ones!

hey man welcome to the board...as it was stated they are diff engines and you DO need diff parts for it...the svts are badass though so congrats on the purchase!!! Good luck with it and have some fun...if u had a zx3 first thing I'd say was buy rims but I like the svt's rims so keep those and start elsewhere :)

I'd forget about a header - SVT comes with a really nice header from the factory.

I went and checked out the SVT's yesterday and I love em but welcome aboard and as far as the grill I just tinted my svt grill out with a can of niteshades. looks real good

Only had my car for 3 days and I have already mod-ed it.
Starting cheap, with apperance stuff. Preformance after the winter.
Today I got my APC clear corner/turns, from Focus Central a new aluminum antenna and billet ford emblems in black. I think it looks hella cool.

Why oh why didn't I get an SVT....you would think I had one as much as I pay for the thing. Anyway, nice car, can't wait to see the new pics. Ohhh, she's a beauty! Love those seats dude, and those aren't the same as the non-Euro HIDs are they? The color almost makes it look like there's signals in them... but then the grille ones are useless so I guess not.

No, they have turn signals in the headlights. So this paycheck when I order new tails from European-parts.com I am also ordering a new grill. And boy oh' boy are the headlights BRIGHT!
