just wondering, if a SVTF has heated mirrors, will it have heated seats, and the engine block heater? i am hopefully getting close to buying one in the next week or two, and the craigslist ad listed heated mirros but nothing else. so i would like to know heated mirrors mean cold weather package. also the factory cd palyer does not work, he as a aftermarket, but it seems like a waste to not use the steering wheel controls. any chance the stock cd player is the same as every other focus out there? sorry for the "noob" questions.

I have heated mirrors and no heated seats...cold climate package came with all that stuff..and the search engine is your friend for steering wheel controls lots of stuff in there

some aftermarket radios will work with the steering wheel controls the box it came in might say.

Heated mirrors were standard on all SVTF models, regardless of whether or not the car had the cold weather package option.

There should be a few relatively recent threads pertaining to the steering wheel controls.

Stock Audiophile system is NOT the same as EVERY focus out there. Some new head units work with steering wheel controls, make sure you check first. They will require additional installation wiring thats sort of a pain.
And SVTF's have heated seats/mirrors, traction control and engine block heater. Good luck on your puchase, and enjoy!

The radio controls aren't much of an issue since you might be able to find an adapter to make it work with the HU. And if there isn't one...you can always go back to stock...I see stock radio's on here all the time from other members. But depending on whether or not your car originally came with the Audiophile option, I can't say if any stock focus radio will just plug right in (actually...maybe not anymore if the old owner cut and spliced the old harnesses off)

And as mentioned above...Heated seats, traction control and engine block heater are all part of the "cold weather package option" but heated mirrors were standard on all SVTF's.
