: Datalogging without XCAL?

How do you datalog without an xcal tuner?

is there some way you can just do this on a laptop?

you will need xcal to connect car to you laptop.

It is possible to data log on a laptop without the xcal. There are several OBD II programs that support multiple protocols and are capable of it. But I dunno of any that are capable of tuning on the Foci, so thats where the xcal comes into play. Maybe someone with more experience will pop in and give a little more detail for ya. Your xcal will datalog the wide band air fuel gauge

Ahhhh then just do the AF at each 1000 rpm with a rider marking them down

i had the same issue with the predator and dataloging the A/F....i recorded a video of the a/f gauge and the tach with my cam and watched the play back.

ok, but wouldnt it make a difference if i was at like 2k rpm in 3rd gear as compared to 2nd? etc?
