Anybody thinking of going to the autocross? Ive never been to one, and with the wife prego, and my daughters b-day party on that day, I won't be able to make it.
Just thought I would throw it out there.
My brother and I are going!! not taking the fofo tho :(

I've done it several times in the past.
I am part of the HouSCCA forum.
It's tons o fun. Just need to make sure you have a Snell SA2005 approved helmet with you as well.
I am going to get back into it, just have lots going on right now and haven't bought a new helmet yet.

if you have the helmet and everything, it really is a lot of fun. the focus adds icing to the cake! i took my stock focus to one in colorado... its really suprising how balanced and precise these cars are, even with a (back then) 9 year old platform!

I have a motorcycle helmet, but not sure if it would work out.
Thanks for the input everyone.

As long as it says Snell Approved 2005, you are okay. Since it is a Motorcycle helmet, it would say M2005 as oppose to SA2005.

My focus would be blaring "We Are The Champions" by Queen all the way aroung the track!
Talk about a bad ass way to get DQ'd! LoL!!!

^^ LOL ^^
If I were to Run Queen, I would play "Bohemian Rhapsody". The kick in part towards the end.
this event is awesome! 122 cars, I did bring my focus, but i'm not running it :/
free food! free beer (although I don't drink) and awesome cars! I saw another SVT (silver by the way lol) but he ain't running either I don't know why because I haven't seen the owner of the car but the car looks good ;)
