No response in 3 months, huh....Idk what kind of racing you are into or what you expect to happen but IMO you can't just come by a sponsor. You've got to establish some kind of value for the sponsor to want to have, in which case they help you with parts or whatever.

I agree with t.g.2.3. when my dad was running his engine machine shop we would get calls like this all the time. I can guarantee you that without a list of credentials, race/shows attended this year and parts modified on your vehicle, no potential sponsor will even look at you. you have to put in the effort up front. modify your vehicle. get out to the races. win some races. then the sponsors will come. you have to win.
Hell I did not even get sponsored when my own dad was running a performance machine shop.

^Working from that, if you want to start getting into some track days, etc... I can give you plenty of info.
Basically you will have to spend plenty of time and money, being significantly committed to get anything from sponsors. I've driven with loads of guys who are highly modified, definitely talented, and hit most track days available and still don't get sponsored.
Now I say all that to give you a little shot of realism (and maybe some pessimism). Don't let me talk you out of it. Doing 1.5 years of track days was the most fun I've had....maybe ever. So check out www.nasaproracing.com and post back here if you have any questions.
