So im having a hard time deciding weather to get a supercharger or a turbo for my 04 SVT. Ive found a few different ones, procharger makes a kit for the svt focus and the jackson racing version seems to be nonexistent anymore. As for the turbos, xios motorworks makes one that comes with everything you would possibly need to assemble it, which is nice, but its a bit pricey. What do you guys think? Do you know anyone who has any of these set ups? and if so please share your opinion on which one you think is better.

if you use the seach button at the top you will find nummmerous threads about this topic...most people will say go turbo because you can get way more power and it costs about 4k or so if you do it right. You can supercharge although and sometimes get away with costing 3k. it all depends on your preference but read around on here and it will help you make your decision

It really depends on your budget. A Turbo setsp can run anywhere form 4 to 6k maybe a little cheaper if you gete some stuff used. But a turbo will make more power and alot more TQ then a supercharger can make. I baught a JRSC becuase of the pice and the sound it makes lol. I should be able to get it set up and tuned for under 3k. Procharger makes a good kit but the price is like 3,700 for the tuner kit which is minus the injectors and the tuning. So if you have the money I would go with the turbo option. And if you looking for a great turbo setup I would look no further then Tom's DIY turbo kit. He knows what he is talking about.

Of course we have heard about it. You're talking to people who have been around these cars for years. We know every Focus performance vendor and pretty much every kit is represented on this board.
I would recommend Tom's kit over the CFM one.

I tuned one of the early ones on a bone stock zetec (motorwise) and it put down 240/240 on 12psi.
