Ok so i just wanna say THANK YOU to Fernando at RSP. this car f'n rides out and its just the beginning. we ran into a couple different problems like the coil on plug setup suck. it was making low power (311) and the graph was all up and down so fernando says maybe its not getting enough power. Fernando worked his magic and it gained 28 more whp, we were amazed plus it cleaned up the graph alot. I am going to go back to stock coil pack and wires so i should gain more HP too. Another thing i had one of the welds on the intercooler end tank break ( my fault fitment issue) but Fernando pulled it off the dyno and let me take the intercooler off and let me use the shop welder to fix it. ( thanks again) also we had killer hot temps today dyno READ 101 degrees and it still made 376whp and 360tq at 20psi. I was really excited considering i have a stock head, stock cams, stock MAIN bolts, stock fuel system and 2.5in intercooler piping, and those shitty Coil on Plugs. I want to say a big thanks to Fernando for hooking me up with a tune, when i am low on money with college.

Full spool on this 3582r is 4500rpm on the dot lol i will post a graph soon

Sweet man. That's some beefy ass torque. I'm excited for 450+. 20psi....pfff, that 35r is just getting started!!! You rev to 7600? If so, 3100 rpm of powerband ain't so bad...a little late for me, but that's just me. Happy to see you're finally gettin somewhere with the new setup!

I have allways said the COP was worthless

No i wont give them a call i waited over 3 months for turboes. thats there job to make turboes and see what works. Just like with what a did with Fernando its the tuners job to figure out why things dont work. even tho it was a mechanical issue it was fixed in the tune. i really hope they didnt sell my comp turbo to that guy cause the seals were leaking and its had scratches from so much shipping. but i hope your no taking this personal i did a change cause i wanted too, i paid you for your time. i needed someone to look at the car while tuning to figure problems out, when gong for these HP its nice o be infront of the car and makes me feel better.

congrats on the power.. the stock head is good for a bit more just so you know.. im still on stock mani, cams, coil pack, plugs, wires, and cam gears set at 0.. basically my whole top of my motor is stock on 93 octane fuel.. and the high setting is just retarded.. i almost never use it..lol...

Just to get a few things straight , There was a LARGE confusion that you caused because you ordered a turbo from me then went and ordered a turbo from Comp , which turned out that you ordered the wrong turbo , then had to get another turbo FREE which I stepped in and helped with even tho you got what you ordered and Comp even covered the shipping

Comp and Focus-Power have checked out that turbo that you ended up with after ordering the wrong turbo so I and Comp knew what the turbo would do , It wasent like you were testing it or anything

Its the tuners job to get you properly tuned , There is NO dyno shop that tunes cars and does phisical work to it at the same cost , I am a Tuner not the savier for all the issues the car may have , that isnt the tuners job and you act like I didnt put in the time with you about tuning issues , But I am glad you feel better !

what do you have done fuel wise?

I'm gonna probably have to end up mildly building the bottom end on my svtf before I throw boost at it. compression test today showed cyl 1 is hurting a little bit. Looks like you god a solid setup, so thats def reassuring.

Justin at compturbo said he knew what you said and what you wanted done to the turbo. but i can see he was lying to me, so i gave him a second chance still make no power, i went to garrett and made power, end of story i could of made more too but i chose not too.

O there was alot more power in it, but i still have stock main bolts so i felt safe at leaving it there, plus its stupid on the streets now. im only running 19psi at the moment and i see no need to go for more my currrent components. now in a month or so i will have a ported head, intake manifold, 3in intercooler piping, stock coil and wires, and a return fuel system

no no no it didnt have any leaks when i had the comp turbo. when we were dynoing it blew out a weld. the only thing that the garrett and the comp had same was my crappy cop. but the comp still spooled to late for me.

And i told you why i didnt have a log. i went to pick up parts at my buddies shop and he was waiting for a guy to dyno and thru mine up on there real quick,, i didnt have my xcal or laptop with me

You can see how smooth it pull up to full boost but then the coil on plug setup just sucks and cant hold a steady spark, Its the not timing or anything else we checked it all.

I dont have arp main studs at the moment but i will, and yes i have arp head studs and i used clevite bearings

People mock STD # but they are what the car actually did under thats days conditions so there is nothing fudged about them

SAE takes into account weather conditions and makes it so if you dyno on a 106 deg day then on a 50 deg day the dyno should be the same all else being the same ,

I'm a newb with all this machine work stuff.

EDIT: and do you think polishing a crank that has 95k miles on it would be a good idea? I don't plan on revving out any higher than the factory rev limit. not sure if its needed.

And i would only mess with the crank if it has grooves in it.

100% yes polish the crank , it does not cost much and in my opinion a MUST to a good quality engine build

It isnt just for the lines in the crank it for smoothing out and making a good smooth surface for the new bearings , the machine and cloth used is ultra fine and takes very little off the crank but makes for a complete new surface for the new bearings

Also check C-F-M for your parts they have some good deals as well

UPDATE:

So i took the oil pan and wintage tray off to check the thrust bearing and its perfect. i checked the endplay again amd its 8 thous. the book say end play needs to be between 3 thous and 10 thous so im good. I shimmed the sensor so we will see
