I decided to just put this here and not in my thread so it will be quick. How do you know if you need to put a new oil seal in a turbo. I was told by the seller it might, but he didnt really know. the turbo looks great spins free no damage. I really dont want to rebuild just for a seal. Is there any way to know without the turbo on car?

Really need to be on the car, sometimes there is a little residue left inside the compressor housing if you take it apart.
