I have done research on this before but forgot most of it. I've read all over this website and searched but couldn't find anything, I guess I didn't put in the right key words (i never have been a good searcher).

I'm looking to try to make my SVT Focus to 350+ hp, hopefully plus.

I don't remember what all I need to do to the engine. I know rods and pistons but thats about it.

Also, what can the stock engine handle? I'm not wanting just psi ratings since they can differ on power output depending on the turbo you go with. I want to know and actual hp number.

Again sorry to bring this up again since I know yall are prob tired of it.

rod pistons, valve springs, and for you a j&s is a must

all i did was rods pisots valve springs and cam gears and my engine is good for 500+hp

Thanks, and I just thought of another question.

When it comes to the boost-a-pump, which should I go with, 20A or 40a?

Stock SVT internals are good up to around 320 hp for a safe DD from what I've heard.

For the BAP I'm sure the bigger the better but I could be wrong.

dont push stock past 300 iirc but ya rods, pistons boost a pump, j and s , valve springs, new arp bolts, and tune.

for the money you are gonna spend you could buy a mustang. the reliability as a daily driver will prob not be that good as well. just a different spin on this subject that's all.

a 300hp focus is very daily drivable not to mention it would destroy most stock v8 mustang and get better fuel economy

plus the fact that the focus will be able to take turns better than the mustang.
