Thanks everyone! Yea these lights rock, good option for 2008+ I think. I got them for $280 new so they're a pretty good bargain too. The light bulbs they come with are a little weak in my opinion though. Maybe it's just having halogens in a projector that I'm not used to, but they don't seem as bright as the stockers did. But then again, you're buying projectors to put in HIDs so no worries then huh? Word of advice, learn from me and don't take it up GMR once you get them in. Slightly terrifying getting used to the cutoffs haha. Next pics I'll get of the light spread and cut and all that before and after HIDs.

So by the way everyone, I'm getting 55w from DDM. What should i go color wise? I was thinking 8000k

Edit: Just asking for opinions on some good looking colors. And by the way again, pics taken with my blackberry :)

If you want more light out-put go 4300k, but since your going 55w i would go 5k. I believe anything above that is just color on the road

Those lights look really nice . I personally have 6000K's in my after market Halo's but I have an 07 too.

Looks good, now it just needs a black grill.

Working on it haha I got a grille off of ebay that said was black but is the chrome one. I'm getting my art friend to paint it sooner or later lol

anything higher is that ricer blue'ish look, and DECREASES the light output (i dont care what anyone says, it does decrease the output, and has been proven to).


now, unplug those halo's, and disconnect those LED's under the projector on both sides and they would look great.


and it looks like you will have to get the bi-xenon HID's (dual light) if you still want to use your highbeams

But man those are sick headlights

Yea I love em lol everything has a slight bluish purple tint from the angel eyes and leds when I drive by. I was thinking maybe like 6000k headlights and eventually wire some fogs for 4300k. Anyone know how hard it is to insert fogs on a non fogged car lol?

If you want something with a blueish color do it.

4800k D4S/R (brand) = 3800 (lumens) -- brightest in the market
5800k D4S/R (brand) = 3300 (lumens)

5800k in retrospect is 6000k. A drop of 500 lumens does not justify HAVING to go with something in the 4k range if your looking for a tad more color.

maybe smoked a little bit, i'll have to see when I get them how they look. That will definitely be a summer buy, I start full time work in about a month so the checks will be rolling in :)
