an 03 screamin yellow svt just came up for sale in my neighborhood for 9000 dollars. its a fully loaded 03 with the EAP with 38000 miles and the original owner, always garage kept so its in excellent condition. its all stock except for a front strut bar... Do you think this is too much money to spend on this car?

I would get him down to 8 and then start talking. But yeah that is a great find for a low mileage, garage kept, and awesome color!! I would try to get it. For the right price of course.

thats a rare piece. if its really clean then i would buy it, maybe try to bring it down to like 8500 but thats me. i love these cars and have two in my garage. i would kill for an eap edition....

I dont think that price is too high, i paid 9k a lil over a year ago for a car with slightly higher mileage that wasnt EAP.

If you can talk him down, great, but honestly, i think its a good deal.

if its immaculate than I think it's a fair price. I paid 8,500 for my no option red 03 with 48,000 miles. Yea I overpaid but I didn't know how bad the reasle value was even looking at kbb and nada

that sounds like a pretty good deal. Considering the mileage and how rare it is. I would pay 9k for it.

I would also pay $9k for it, an EAP SVT with that mileage is rare.

I'm with everyone here...$9K is fair. I'm sure if you flash $8500 in his face, he'll take it [woot]

Sounds like a really nice car. $8500 sounds very reasonable if he's flexible. If it is pristine as you say then I'd probably still buy it for 9K if he won't budge.

the dealer i bought mine from sold a yellow eap with 60000 for about 7, and i got my black eap with 65000 for 6500, so its not a terrible price, but i wouldnt pay it

hell my black eap has 71000 on it now, and i'd sell it for 6500 tomorrow if the cash was in front of me

It's a great car for the money, you must admit.

I wouldnt pay more than 7500-8000 for it... I realize it's mint and what not, but the new focus svt or rs or whatever the hell its gonna be is right around the corner (hopefully) and 9 grand is a nice down payment.
