i currently have an 03 focus zetec with a ford racing shorty header, focus central orp, and magnaflow exhuast. once i put the orp on my car, it got this raspy ricer sound to it in mid to high rpms... i am going to pick up an 03 svt this weekend and was wondering if the same thing will happen if i put an orp on that?

if you don't want to sound like a pissed off bumble bee then get a high flow cat instead of the orp.

I think Ray meant with stock exhaust. It DOES sound like poop with stock exhaust. Borla sounds good.

actually AKU isn't running a ORP...so disregard that video. still sounds good though. but I think orp with the trubenz borla kit w/resonator sounds a little better.

I have an ORP with stock minus the lunch box. When my car is cold, it does sound bad. But when it warms up it sounds really really good. But I wouldn't mind getting a 3" borla in the future, mainly cause I'm about to turbo.

But yeah, ORP + Borla = pure sexiness.

my orp is amazing and sounds great.. 1-3k sounds like a high quality honda, 3-5 no difference, 5k+ sounds like a vr6 with exhaust
