Ok so I'm not sure if this goes in this section so mods move as needed...
So I made a boo boo. I was hooking my J&S gauge up to my firewire cable to datalog. so I bought a splitter rca jack to split the signal. I plugged in the cable into my J&S and the way I have my J&S mounted and the actual weight of the cable ::sigh:: actually pulled the J&S femal jack/hookup out of the circuit board.
I can see two tabs that are supposed to be secured in the board. I was able to fanagle it and could get a signal if I held it in place but... I believe it needs to be taken apart and re-solderd(SP) back together.
I emailed J&S saterday and havn't gotten a response yet. it's only noon on monday so I don't expect anything just yet but I wanted some input. if anyone knew what they would charge? hourly rate? OR if anyone believes this could be a fairly easy fix?
thanks guys....Hope I can get this done fast cause I would really like to go back to tuning my car... urrr.
