Okay so some of you may or may not know that i have been working on a JRSC build for a bit now, ran into problems here and there but the numbers are in.
190 hp
170 tq
the setup consists of a JRSC with the bbk rebuilt and ported by steigemeir, steeda 2.5 inch exhaust, 4-2-1 longtube header, custom mid-pipe by sg-motorsports, with a highflow vibrant cat, snow performance water methanol injection, and mcnews cams (which are basically FR2 cams).
tuning was done by steeda.ca at there dyno. I had a few people tell me that they weren't the greatest but i will attest to the fact that Pat is a great guy and got me the numbers i was expecting in a professional manner. now we will see if she holds up which i expect that it will.
picture of the dyno is to follow, by the way it was done on a dynojet.
the most interesting thing, i am only recording 5psi. the low pressure i am attributing to the large exhaust, cams, and porting, but it is making good power so i dont presume there is much blowby.
anyway hope this sheds some light on what different combinations can yield

Those are pretty good numbers for such a small blower.

Was that with the Meth injection on or off??

Those are some pretty nice numbers. Good job.

the meth was on but the difference between having the meth on and off was only about 5hp. it is being injected at the intake pipe so the difference in iat's is only about 20degrees.I daily drive the car and dont have the time to locate it in the intake mani (i basically have to take the whole shebang apart it put it in the intake mani) so i think there is still some more there.

for 5psi i'd say thats pretty respectable. ever get the dyno chart? :)

not too shabby, pats a pretty good guy. although his dyno tuning has been questioned a few times lol.

try and make it to one of the upcoming monday meets! im sure everyone would like to see your set of wheels.

Those are great numbers and the car must feel pretty quick!

hey spinal i have been wanting to make it out to one of those forever but never actually got my ass up to go. and yes it does go pretty good for those of you wondering.
pat is a good guy, he doesnt sugar coat things which i like, as far as tuning it made the numbers i wanted/expected it to make so i cant really question on the tune.

i don't believe its 5psi the BBK comes with a 8psi pulley

yeah but ported head and cams can lower the psi but increase efficiency, which in turn makes power.

Those are some good numbers, about what you should be at. This also proves that the other thread with the SVT and blower that is putting out some low numbers is having some serious issues.

Boost is actually a measurement of what DOESN'T go into the cylinders.

Great numbers. You should be proud of that performance.

Question: Did Pat tune for the water meth or did he tune as if you don't have it? Just curious because that seems to be one of the issues being debated when it comes to WM.
