I just got me a svt its a 2004, 4 door eap it has 32,083 miles and is in like mint condition... Bone stock.....Well I don't know that much about svt, that's where you come in. I have a little over 2000 bucks left from my car money ,and I would like to make the car into a really FUN AND ENJOYABLE RELIABLE DAILY DRIVER... I would like to take the car right up to that point where if I put any more mods on, it wont be a FUN car to ride around in...I don't want to break a leg to shift or have so much tq steer its just not fun. Also don't want a tinker toy.. Any way what should i do? I mean what would you do? I want to get as much outta my money as possible so.....[idea]

since your in FL! you can put an orp (off-road race pipe) to delete cat. couple that with an aftermarket tune to remove the rear o2 sensor readings and optimize the new found exhaust flow should net you 10-15 whp and comperable tq. That will be around $700.
Spend the rest on good bubbers and suspension upgrade. Good idea to change the t-belt since you don't know the history of its upkeep.
OO, and if your not doing anything this weekend, a bunch of us around FL are heading out to Daytona for the weekend! Your more than welcome to head on over and check out some other rides! Be prepared for shenanigans.
And, a friendly reminder, searches do wonders!

Tune on the SVT should allways be the first mod , if you get the tune from me you get free tune updates as you add more mods
Bets mods to add are
ORP = Off Road Pipe
Drop in filter
are all worthless on the SVT

Dont forget the VF Engineering motor mounts (all 3 of them).. they really make the car feel more connected to the driver.

I've had my SVT for less than a year, unfortunately here in Mexico, at least in my city is hard to find people who really know about this car, I met a friend on the net who recomendme CFM, and some basic mods to improve my SVT performance, I changed motor mounts for polys and a K&N drop in filter, WOW it turned into a much more pleasant and fun drive!! by the way, gas milleage increased with the air filter change.

ok so there's not much as far as bolt on go to increase hp and tq besides what has been said so i cant boost without more money....so is it safe to say that if i do the upgrades tom told me to you will be at about 200 hp in a svt? also what about changing the cams would that help or should i just do the mods and save for something else?

I could be wrong... But I'm pretty sure you won't see 200 HP on a NA motor without extenssssive work done to it.. Meaning, beyond bolt ons.
I'm relatively new, so I hope someone can make sure or clarify, but what I've gathered from reading.. Is that the engine is already pushed about as far as you can get it. A CAI and exhaust are basically useless as far as performance goes on an NA SVTf, you won't see much of anything for performance gains.
I'd stick with the suspension ideas, and maybe get rid of some weight! Losing big weight = big performance.. It seems at least, I would never cut my car, personally.

You will see from upper 140`s to upper 150`s with a tune , HFC , TB and filter/intake
