I'm going to be purchasing my xcal3 hopefully in 2-3 weeks from Tom, depending on my financial status and had a few questions.

1. does it work with windows 7? I'm also going to be purchasing a netbook for the car and dont want to get one with the wrong operating system and have a bunch of headaches.

2. can the software be loaded on more than one computer? I wont be getting my netbook for a month or so, and have 2 friends that said I can use their laptops to datalog with. one has vista and one has windows 7. the software isn't locked to one computer is it?

Yes. It works with Windows 7 but there were some changes made to Windows to make it work. This is my personal experience with 7 and SCT technical.

It is not locked to a computer. You can download it from their site from any computer.

i am running it with 7. works ok now. livelink and my SVT do not get along tho. i have major freeze up problems. makes it real hard to get a decent log.

mdgonzo - what changes needed to be made to windows 7 to make it work? any issues with freezing on yours?

also, what computers are you guys using to datalog with?
