: 08+ fog and high beam at the same time mod?

Does one exist?

I need to look over the wiring diagrams in my book, but all the threads about this I've found so far on here were related to the older gen.

Anyone does this or want to help come up with a solution?

The relay for the fogs is controlled by computer (logic), and is grounded to activate the relay.

I need to find the location of the relay, and tap into the line between the - on the relay and the computer logic.

Where can these relays be found? I'm guessing hidden behind the fuse panel inside the car according to the wiring diagram, but it says "non-serviceable" beside the relay, so is it hardwired and not replaceable?

I would like to know if that is possible also!

i found out what pins to use by finding the correct relay by using a multimeter and testing the traces and where the fuse would be for the highs and the fogs... i suggest doing that on your units if you have anything other than the 08's. electronics skills is a must here. if you don't know what these components are in there i suggest keeping your hands out. I don't want you all to go and ruin your SJBs

I'm not worried about doing it myself personally once it's outta the car and on a work table, but how easy is it to get the SJB out?

I want to say 3x 10mm bolts, 2 on top and 1 on the bottom and all the connectors and it should fall out. opening it up is a epic p.i.t.a.

So I was thinking about your mod.

It keeps the fog lights on when the high beams are on, but does it activate the fogs if you do a pass to flash? I don't want to momentarily activate the HIDs in the fogs. They will never light up properly in such a short time anyways.

Why not a mod to prevent the fog lights from going OFF when the high beams are on?

Trace the circuit that turns off the fogs when the high beams are on, and disable it?

this will flash the fogs when u use p2f.... wire some leads there and hook up a switch and a diode. put the switch some where accessable so you can enable and disable this mod as needed...
