since SCT does not release their source, and it only makes builds for windows, no it will not work.

You can try to wine it but I doubt it will work. Put it this way, ive been using debian for over 5 years and I havent even bothered to try.

yeah i just tried wine today. im gonna have a buddy partition my HD and set up xp but i dont want to run xp as my primary any more. i just recently got a horrible virus on it and switched to linux.

ive been dual booting a very lightweight xp install for when im forced to use MS office or SCT products and games and such windows-required things

yeah thats what im gonna have to do. i dont do anything on my pc other than internet and logging my car. but they say its highly unlikly to get virus's and what not on linux so ill continue to use it.

I have windows XP and dont get any virus , I use avast to keep it clean and does a good job

What I tell guys that dont have xp is to go to the pawn shop and buy a PC just for tuning , most get one for less then 100.00 a customer yesterday got one for 45.00

partition your HDD and install a windows os, if you have or can get your hands on a windows installer free it takes 20 minutes. I triple boot osx, ubuntu and windows. it's really easy

the laptop that i had linux on took a crap on me so i got my new one.
