Every time I slow down for a turn, but don't stop, as soon as I begin to accelerate out of it the tires chirp. It almost feels like its in neutral then engages once I give it some gas. Its really quite annoying. If I put the shifter into 1st or 2nd (auto) it doesn't do this, so I figure its something with shifting gears, but I may be wrong. Any ideas? Could it be worn axles?
Thanks in advance,

I was thinking axles also. Could be the tranny. But also if your shifting it manually then it stays in the lower gear so of course it wouldn't chirp the tires cause there is no shifting. Now after saying that I'm thinking maybe its the tranny. Have you done any maintenance to it? Change the filter and fluid that might help. If it doesn't could be the axles like you thought. good luck

Tire pressure is fine. I check it every week, as I work at a discount tire. Still am not sure as to what it is. My guess is just an abused tranny with too much hard manual shifting. I'll either replace it or rebuild it this summer. Depends on which one is cheaper
