I was looking at maybe purchasing another SVT with a hole in the tranny and in need of a new clutch. For $3300 this is what I get:

Problems:
Needs a new transmission and clutch. The transmission needs to be replaced. There is a fist sized hole blown in the case. The Spec flywheel can be relined instead of buying another one for $700.
Small crack on the front bumper
Damage from accident on drivers side rear lower quarter panel.
Some small trim pieces need paint.

BUT.... I can't seem to find replacement getrags! I can't even find a price for an mtx-75! Anyone have a source for either? I would consider converting over to a mtx-75 and the appropriate upgraded clutch if it would be better or cheaper than a 6-speed. Or should I just strip the awesome parts from this car and part out what I don't need?

This could be a good deal, right? He is in the next town over, too.

i got pretty much the same deal on a 02 svt, jrsc, trans wont go in 2nd, had driverside damage on the rear quarter panel. i only paid 1000 and the interior is really fresh...

Junk yards too... might be hard to find a svt in there but ive seen it a couple times.

i know someone in the marketplace was parting out a svt and im purchasing the engine from them. if im not mistaken he still has the trans for sale.
