: Tune?

I am gonna be looking to get a tune as soon as my taxes come back and my parts arrive. So far, I have a short ram intake installed, then waiting to be installed is a cfm throttle body, an adjustable cam gear, and an orp. I was reading that you can adjust the gear, based on your car and power needs. I was wondering if there was anyone in the area that specializes in adjusting these gears. I am debating if I should go with Tom's tune, or an SCT tune based on dyno results. Feedback would be greatly appreciated[cheers]

I feel you wont find a better tune anywhere for the SVT Focus , I own one and have spent years refining the issues this car has , No other shop/tuner can say this

Def. ging to have to find someone here in the Sea/Tac area to adjust cams, don't really think Tom is going to drive up here to do that, and besides I think that would be one expensive bill.........

A compression tester will get you close to proper adj on the cam gears , adj one at a time and check compression the same each time after adj

A dyno then would be needed to get them dead on , I can do the SCT tune as well

Tom you should do a write up on how to compression test cam gears to get them right. I would like to get them close before i go to get dyno tuned in just to save time as the dyno time is 200 per hour

Thats why its best to have me remote tune it , dynos anymore just charge to much and do very little

I charge 399.00 and 20.00 for shipping for xcal3 BUT with my tuning you get free updates as you add more mods or want changes where my competition charges extra for more mods and boltons each time and each new mod , No one has been tuning these cars as much or as long as Focus-Power has
