well deal is i have an 04 svt that i had installed a JRSC along with fords bbk. well i screwed up the engine and im going to be installing a new one. well the
question i have is what do i do about the bbk tune on my pcm. can i just take it to the ford dealer and have a stock tune placed on it. will the car be
semi driveable in NA form with the BBK tune. just wondering if i will have to tow it to the dealer ship or can i drive it. also does anyone know what the process is called or the price and if any dealership can do it. im kinda nervous on the matter because my dealership is kinda low tech and had never seen a svt focus befor.

Not to poke at you but I told you that tune wasent any good

When you get back to stock you will have to tow your car to the dealer to have a new tune installed , or if you know some one that has xcal I can send you a tune to drive it there then take my tune out and let Ford reflash your ECU

yeah. well i had an issue with a misfire on one before i even went with the supercharger. guess it just finished it off. will the car even crank with the old tune and idle?

I don't think so as a part of BBK there are bigger injectors...and if you are going back to stock, there will be replaced with stock one....

No doubt it would even crank up

oh ok. will ford be able reprogram the stock tune in the vehicle. im just wanting a stock tune. i plan on returning this car to stock and just using it as the daily driver and putting my concern into my turbo neon.

I had a similar scenario with my car, and I put everything back to stock except the fuel injectors, and drove it to the dealership. When I got there, I parked the car in the service area and swapped the stock injectors back in. I didn't bother with the retaining clips at that point, I just bolted down the rail. Took maybe 10 minutes. I warned the service guy not to start the car until the ECU was reflashed, and everything was fine.

hey why dont u get a tune for your stock motor so it runs better.. since you have to pay for a tune anyways.. why not just pay for a good tune once..

ehh 80 dollars for the stock tune and runs really great. kinda feels like it runs better then it did before the supercharger. oh and it ran fine with the bbk tune with stock injectors and maf. was alil sluggish but all in all air/fuel stayed fine and ran good. drove it like a grandma to the dealer and they reflashed it. glad to be riding again. and dan this motor is strong man thanks for the help with it.
