NGK iridiums work well. DON'T REGAP THEM WITH THE GAUGE!! If you twist on the electrode you take a chance of snapping it off. Use a gapper with the little slot to bend the end of the plug. Also, the stockers don't really seem that bad. Platinum plugs are pretty good by themselves. I run NGK's and am quite happy, but if I get a miss I immediately put the stockers back in.

When you take them out, you'll notice that they are two different #'s, don't panic. Ford didn't run out and slap something in there to get the car down the line. When your car goes into limp mode for overheating or the rev limiter kicks in, you're only running on the two hotter plugs. That way they don't foul out and really leave you stranded. Just so you know.

Smoother idle and a little bit of pep off the line. I mostly wanted them for the idle change.

Just a thought for many parts for SPI HI-OUTPUT IGNITION COIL PACK (http://www.escortfocus.com/index.html) with SPIRALCORE SPARK PLUG WIRE SETS http://www.escortfocus.com/index.html would be another way of improving on stock setup if you have the money to burn. I plan on it evenually
