I gotta know how difficult it is to do a transmission swap from a manual to an automatic. and what parts are involved? Thanks for the help!

Well...everything! You need a new wiring harness, new ECU, plus the tranny and much more. Really it will be a lot but if you want to try then i respect that.

Find a donor car and swap everything over. I don't see why one would do this but to each his/her own. Doing a swap like this will cost money for all the little clips n junk u will need unless u find a donor car of the same year. Physically its not that bad just time consuming.

U will need the trans, flex plate and new bolts to install it, crank position sensor, starter motor possibly, ecu, possibly part of the wireharness, possibly axles (I hear they are different for automatics and manuals but I havnt done it so idk), the linkage for said transmission, miscellaneous interior parts, I think the condensor or radiator has a trans line running thru it to cool the transmission also so you might need that as well, someone chime in if I miss anything...

If u decide to go thru with it I'm sure there's someone willing to buy all the stuff you take off of your car to swap into there's or possibly you could just swap from each others cars. That would make it much easier.

I want to do this because me fiance cant drive a stick..i know, ive tried to teach her once, but she doesnt want to try again. her car isnt very reliable, so if i breaks down again she could just use my car..and i probably wouldnt go through my tires as fast as i do(i think im speed racer).

Probably be cheaper just to trade it in if you can find a new 09 still.

just trade your car in imo its not worth ruining your warranty and the time spent.
