Hi everybody,

Newbie to the Focus world here [:)]

I'm looking into installing HIDs on the car, and I'm wondering if anybody else did this already on a 2010 or late-model (2008+) Focus .... any problems ?

Thanks in advance .... [:)]

any problems? yeah, you shouldnt place hids in a bulb housing not designed for such.

no projectors? no hids [thumb]

yeah, should be plug and play. i believe the only hid kit that doesnt fit directly are H1's. you must file down the housing where the bulb inserts. the wire that hangs from the hid bulb needs some room.

but for your application, you shouldnt have any problems. well, except with the law[thumb]

Well, I haven't had any law problems running HIDs in my car (07 Charger RT AWD), so I'm hoping that the Focus will be OK too ... the Focus is actually my Mom's, but I drive it a lot lately and night-time lighting is terrible, especially since I'm used to the HIDs in the Charger ... [:)]

^^^^ x2

eyelids, projectors headlight swap, projector-retrofit <-- all better than putting those blinding HID's into reflector stock housing
and nobody gets blinded [idea]

its a straight plug and play kit. h13 bulb. i dunno bout everybody else but here in baltimore there's tons of people with hid's in stock housings. and ridiculous colors blue, pink, green lmao. as long as you aim the lights down some you should be fine

dont take it wrong when everyone bashes u about hids in stock housings. i have them and the law hasnt done anything yet so if ur gonna be apart of this site then get ready for bashing about hids. no one likes them if they arent in projectors. I love them though. Just a heads up

can you aim the lights that far down so as to not to be blinding oncoming traffic? lol, any lower and i'd worry about that adjustment nut coming off
