My current HP goal is set to just take the engine to the safest max which is normally 8psi for zetec.. Later when i redo the internals in the engine (hopefully brand new engine) i will be looking for a lot more power.[wiggle]
lemme know what you think! thanks!

focusedaddiction 10-20-2009, 11:31 PM ditch the denso iridium plugs & just ge the motorcraft copper core SP 463's. cheaper, work better, and are not as fragile as the denso's. just my opinion[thumb]
CatMostFeared 10-20-2009, 11:38 PM Injectors 50 or 60s
you dont need J&S
14psi or less you dont need Boost a pump but the tune will tell

I know the turbo timer isn't required but i want it. I don't feel like sitting inside my car for a while for the turbo to cool off, and i road with a fellow FF member who had one, and saw that it was really nice to turn off the turbo car, and let it cool down while your already on your way to the store walking.
as for the plugs those are the ones i am going to go with (motorcrafts) i just didnt get to update that part of the list lol
Turbo Turtle 10-21-2009, 05:27 PM they are pointless. not just not required. it is a waiste of money otherwise all factory turbo cars would come with them.

Well i have heard that it prolongs the life of the turbo, because it lets the turbo cool down before turning it off, then all the heat goes to the center of the turbo and can cause oil boil. correct me if i am wrong lol
1turbofocus 10-21-2009, 06:45 PM Who ever told you that doesnt know what there talking about , Back when the older bearings and materials yes maybe
All you need to do is 10 to 15 sec , it takes me that long to unplug my sell , grab my crap and open the door , I then switch the engine off and my SVO had over 100,000 miles with the same turbo and my SVT has been turbocharged sence 2002 with same turbo and anyone will tell you I beat it hard
Save the cash for something needed for safety or performance

thanks tom, will be removing the turbo timer then [thumb]
03OrangeSVT 10-21-2009, 10:10 PM Besides with the GT28rs its oil AND water cooled.... once you turn the motor off coolant will still flow through the turbo housing for a very long time.
