okay so heres the story a Co-worker and his garage team really wants to do a FWD car to a RWD v8 so he suggested using my focus(what a great choice lol lucky me) im all for it he has a donor car a mustang 2 a rebuilt 302 bored over to a 306 and a 5 speed manual and driveshaft rearend gears form a a thrid gen fox

the donor car (Mustang 2) would be used for as much of the conversion as we need engine frame brake and and suspension swap?

so anyways my question is if im not gonna buy the conversion kit and they use this donor car to make the custom swap on my focus

anyone know what ill need thats not in the donor car that would be in the V8 focus kit that i seriously need to retain alot of my stock functions like the kit does?

i know there will be some serious welding going on and other custom fab which they can handle but what will it be anyone know? i just dont wanna agree to this to find down the road i need some serious dough or time to continue

thanks for any answers advice etc for my future Frankenstein

Its easier if you just use the Kugel kit.

i kno it will be easier but cost is my concern ive seen people say as low as $5,000 with providing your own v8 ,transmission, rearend, and driveshaft? i can get this done next to free if its not impossibly difficult
do u know how much the kugel kit runs?

You know the ZX408 is for sale... AND you can buy just the rolling chassis for $6,000
