What do u guys reccomend for turbo applications........as far as head gaskets, maniofold, etc. Would you go with stock or what?

Well if you're going for 700whp like your name, then you would want a Cometic head gasket. If you're just doing a mild turbo, stock gaskets for everything work just fine.

89??? I'm guessing the "lol" meant it was a joke. If you had a crazy turbo setup (which it takes to make 550whp) then you would never want to run 89. You could, but you would have to pull a buttload of timing and run like 5 psi.

You need at least a GT35R to make 550 if not a GT37R. That means you can't run stock fans unless you can find some custom manifold that puts the turbo in an interesting place...like the battery. Anyways, have you begun to buy stuff?

i have slowly begun to buy stuff! 2 kids going to private school kills my etra funds! (over 1k per month)
i like your manifold....looks hot. i have the blast stage 2 turbo kit. i got it a while ago.....it puts the battery to the back and the turbo sits where the battery is or close to it. i have a way to go, but i am fine with that. i want to go with the comp turbo!

Stock gaskets are fine , the topspeed wont do anything more then the SPA when it comes right down to it , the crappy flowing Roush made over 400

You will find that having the waste gate easy to get to , down pipe v-band , stock fans all easy to get to is worth a TON , dont need fancy over priced to work good , It takes a combination not fancy parts

Ok, but you do realize what 550whp requires, right? Return fuel system for one. If you do it the right way with a fuel cell, A1000 pump, etc, that'll run you $1500 alone. If you want a turbo that puts out that much power but is still responsive, you'll have to get triple ball bearing, and the Comps go for $1700 if not more. A 550whp kit is going to cost you...probably $8k+ and that's if you can do a lot of the work yourself. I guess you got a lot of stuff with the Blaast kit, which helps, though.

with the blast kit..i got the piping, header, down pipe 2 1/2 inches.wastgate, oil pan with welded bung, unlocked xcal2 , 42 lb injectors, 1 step colder motorcraft spark plugs, blow off vave, intercooler.about 3 1/2 inches thick. v band camps.
i have focus central cam gears, mafia, gen2 frim, fr 70mm throttle body. Borla muffler which i will be selling for $50. it is 2 1/4 inch..........not good for FI.i know i need a fuel return system. i am working on getting a built bottom end....with probe pistons and eagle rods.......balanced crank and rods. i plan to deep cryo the block, crankshaft and rods! i am going to go with synapse bov and wastgate. i wanna be different. they look ike good products also! i do not know and need to know if 71lb injectors will work for my power goal or do i need to up it to 96lb?

I sure wouldnt do eagle rods and 550 , you will break them and loose everything , 71LB should get you to 550 with a return system yes 96 will do it easier but you will need low imp driver for 96

Wow, Tom, Eagle rods won't hold 550? Looking at the price difference, I'm guessing Crower rods could hold the power? $730 vs. $340 for Eagles.

Also, Tom, do you think the Comp CT3 67 will do 550? Rated for 700 crank hp. Get the triple BB option for $1700. Sounds good to me.

To the OP, looks like you have a lot of parts already, good stuff. I would take Tom's advice on the rods.
