I was wondering if anyone has done an exterior handle swap using the 2008/09 handles onto a 2005-2007 model. I was looking at my 2005 sitting next to a 2008 model and it looks like the door handles should be an easy swap. Anyone tried it?
Also, I was looking at a Fusion and the side mirrors look like a possible swap with my 2005 Focus. Has anyone tried this swap? This would be a cool swap if it fits.

I almost bought a set of painted handles a couple months ago to see if they'd fit. Best bet would to buy a used one on ebay and compare to the stock ones.

Or you could ask someone to take some pictures of the back of the newer ones and compare that way.
