I know I have seen this posted before, but I can't seem to find it. I am looking to get some stage 2 cams to compliment the jrsc. Should I just get standard ones or ones that are made for boost? I heard regular ones have both valves open at some point which doesn't do well with boost.

Adjustable cam gears are what you need to change overlap. Cams change the lift and duration. Personally, I plan to change my exhaust cam for more lift with similar duration as stock, but mine is an SVT which already has pretty aggressive cams.

Not sure what other mods you have but changing cams , adj cam gears , tune , dyno time to adj cams really wouldnt be worth what if anything they would add in HP/TQ

Well they won't be installed till I have the $$ for a tune and dyno time.

any cam w/ no valve overlap and high lift will help. but u can prolly stay w/ stock.

How can I tell if they have overlap?

All NA cars have overlap. You get adjustable cam gears and bring it to a dyno tuner to adjust the cams for you to dial it out.

l would honestly leave it stock I dont think the lemon is worth the squeeze on this one

I would say a JRSC benefits from a dyno tune just the way it is, adjustable gears are only going to help.
