found a donor car to do my zetec swap. zx5 with 70k miles. it was hit hard in the front..hard enough to snap the cv axle.. trans case seems to be fine though..any input on if the car may have tranny problems?

NAD23ZX3 09-18-2009, 04:25 PM the axle seals may have been ripped. Check the case for cracks, stick some axles in and see if it turns freely. focusmaniaczx3 09-22-2009, 03:58 AM if it was hit hard enough to break an axle it might have damaged the diff. be careful | |
