ok i have a 2004 svt focus with a slight issue of damage on the #1 cylinder. i was having a misfire on #1 for awhile and found out it had low comp. after pulling the head i found scaring on the wall and some pits in the edge of the piston as if some metal had gotten into it(looked like bronze or brass in the pits). these pits were mainly on the top near the outside of the piston but the sides look to be ok. well i need to get this fixed but im low on cash. i saw on here that a guy had the same issue and put a standard zetec block in his svt. i know the rods arent as strong and it doesnt have oil squirters but it would be enough to ride until i can buy some better internals and bore out and build the svt block i have. also the milage is semi low on the svt block and looks really good except for the damage to #1. i heard of people having a sleeve put in. where would i go about purchaseing a sleeve to have the machine shop intall it. i want to keep the block in its stock bore.

oh yeah was i the only one who was speechless after lady gaga's thing she did on the music awards lol.

i do not think you have very much choices. you could resleeeve the block or try to bore it out............are u going to mod this motor in the future?
