I just wanted to say bye. I have only been on here a little over a year and I think I helped some people out. But I just traded my Sonic blue SVTF for a 1990 toyota supra turbo with targa top. I will hang out and read and help when I can and I will still be fixing some friends focus's. It was a good time. Had a couple arguments but overall I love this site and all the focus information available. See ya

We need some pics. Could be a decent trade if in good condition.

Good trade IMO if you got some money and have another car to drive as a DD. Def get some pics up. I love the older Supras if they are kept clean.

Its in mint condition. It came with a parts car for body parts. Its pearl white exterior with a black leather interior. It was a straight trade. To me it wasnt a trade down. I love supras more than anything. I have a 95 as well but its put away til my driving record clears up and I can afford insurance. So for now I enjoy the 90 supra. Its loaded and everything works. It was dyno'd at 384 RWHP on 15 pounds of boost. The engine was rebuilt by a local speed shop and only has 459 miles on it. He knocked up an one night stand and she tracked him down. The B**ch is takin all his money and he gave up the supra over the ZX-10R. I love the car. Keeping in sideways into 4th without using the brakes. And the HKS BOV and external dump wastegate and 4 inch free flow exhaust sound amazing.

I will have pics tomorow when I get a new cable for the camera. I took a bunch. It does need some things as its 20 years old. But nothing huge. These cars can take such a beating and not even care. I am getting a beater S10 for winter. I already have a dodge ram too so im good for winter.

Money wise the SVTF cars really arent worth much more thn aregular focus unless ya have one thats low mileage and loaded. And then once you have that ya gotta find someone that cars that its a SVT. Most people dont. They see focus. And to me the trade was worth it and its my money. No offence...
Well I hope your happy that's what matters. Dealers (if that's where you got it from) wont do even trades unless they are making a profit so Im guessing they got full value for the supra which is about 3 grand and you got low trade in value for your Focus so ya makes some sense now to me. You said there was no money involve your all set then.

Its worth it to me. I wouldnt have given money and wouldnt have done it if the engine wasnt basically new. But its well taken care of rust free and private party deal. The guy chased me down and asked if I would sell or trade for the supra. Went and looked at it. Went home got the title. Swapped plates and signed paperwork and drove the supra home with a huge smile on my face. Just gotta do a retro and some small stuff and a little suspention work and enjoy it. Save up for a 1j swap.

Good luck with your new car. I'm going close this thread before negative comments start flooding in. While you may no longer own a Focus, please feel free to remain here as part of the community.
