Trav-E2.0 09-08-2009, 11:11 AM yupps! That it is. Money started getting really tight for me and my fam so I had to part with it =(. I've been very much out of the loop of things due to such.
Julio...Starting to look good brother! Glad to see my kit went to a good home! Can't wait to see the final product [thumb]

do you still have your focus?
Trav-E2.0 09-09-2009, 07:23 PM Yeah, but right now shes kinda on hiadus due to no funds. I have been messing around the trails near here and have been thinking of going a new route with her. Theres just something surreal about doing 70 in the dirt [:D]

Riverratrider 09-24-2009, 12:17 AM wait, is that all done with a rattle can?
ShamrockSVT 09-24-2009, 02:26 AM Impressed if done with a paint gun DIY in the garage, even more impressed if its being done with a rattle can.....have I been bested?
Medina 09-24-2009, 03:07 AM worked too hard on this & I don't want to ruin it... lol
G1515 09-24-2009, 11:46 AM Thats quite a unique and very colorfull paint scheme. Reminds me of a RALLY focus. Nice job!
ShamrockSVT 09-24-2009, 08:14 PM yes how can you tell?, found it cheaper than to buy 5 pints of different colors, reducer and thinner lol
came out damn good too (for rattle cans) lol.
Question is can i use clear on this or will it wrinkle? I will shoot the clear with a spray gun..
worked too hard on this & I don't want to ruin it... lol
You can, but you have to be very carefull about this. Hopefully you used all of one brand and type of paint. If, call them and ask what air spray application clear coats will not brak down your base coat, if there are any. Also, ask them about the re-coat window, as the timing of the clear coat application will affect its reaction with the base coat.
